WATER QUALITY RESEARCH GROUP

ABOUT US
The Water Quality Research Group is a joint research and consultancy collaboration effort pertaining to water quality premises (survey, sampling, analysis, modeling and assessment) between individual experts from three Malaysian institutes of higher learning, UTM, UiTM and UniKL, with the intention of integrating resources and strengthening ties between the universities; and the common goal of water resource preservation. |

WHAT WE DO
The group is actively involved in research activities, coherent to management of surface water resources within the country, as well as consultancy services related to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Integrated River Basin Management (IRBM), river rehabilitation studies, water quality modeling, non-point source pollution (NPSP), Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) strategies as well as other hydrological premises.
The group also provides technical training to stakeholders, consultants, environmental officers, NGOs, students and other parties involved in the environmental and water resource management sectors.
In addition, ties with experts from other environmental fields, enable the group to remain relevant and all encompassing in relation� to environmental management, preservation and sustainability.
