Technical University of Denmark, DK-2800 Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark. Mohd. Kamaruddin Abd. Hamid joined the Department of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in July 2003 as Tutor, where in July 2004, he was appointed as Lecturer in Chemical Engineering. He obtained Master of Engineering (M.Eng) and Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) (Honors) in Chemical Engineering from UTM in 2003 and 2001, respectively. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the Computer Aided Process-Product Engineering Center (CAPEC), Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark (DTU) under supervison of Professor Rafiqul Gani and Gurkan Sin. His research is about "Integration of Modelling, Design and Control for Efficient Operation of Chemical Processes" with the objective to develop a model-based methodology for simultaneous process design and control aims at identifying the optimal operating point where both process design and control objectives are best satisfied at the best economic performance.
