GLOBAL OUTREACH 2009: SPE-UTM INTERNATIONAL OIL AND GAS EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO INDONESIA In making petroleum engineering students’ global ready, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE-UTM) Student Chapter together with the Department of Petroleum Engineering (DPE) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) have taken a proactive step by organizing the SPE-UTM International Oil & Gas Educational Visit 2009 to Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia. The trip was held from 16th to 22nd November 2009. More Congratulations! SPE-UTM Student Chapter is the winner of 2009 SPE Outstanding Student Chapter (OSC) for the Asia Pasific Region. Congratulations! Muhammad Yazdaan Mohammad Aris (final year Petroleum Engineering student) has been selected to participate in the 2009 IPTC Education Week in Doha, Qatar, 5-9 December 2009.
